circulating production so far this year (Mint's current report, read October 16, 2026)
The Mint's report says: “Coins minted for numismatic bags, rolls, and boxes are produced in the circulating departments of the United States Mints at Philadelphia and Denver, and may be shown in circulating totals.” (U.S. Mint)
Quarters made in 2025 for the Semiquincentennial (2026) program aren't in this 2026 figure; the Mint's report counts them under 2025 (80,800,000).
2026 is the year so far: “Cumulative figures are updated monthly.” (U.S. Mint) We read the report on October 16, 2026.

By design

The Mint's production report lists each design separately: circulating production at Denver and Philadelphia. Design names are as the report prints them. Production began in 2025: the report files 80,800,000 of these quarters under 2025, and those are in the 2025 row of the American Women Quarters year table, not in the 2026 row above. This is a different count from the year table above. In 2025 the year table's total also includes 80,800,000 quarters the Mint files under its Semiquincentennial (2026) program, so it is larger than these designs alone.

The yearly totals and the per-design figures don't match for every year. Both come from the Mint's current production report: the year-by-mint table uses its yearly totals, the by-design table its figures for each design. Yearly total minus the sum of that year's designs: 2026 Philadelphia: +600,000 (our calculation). The report doesn't explain the difference, so we show both as published and adjust neither.
